Kinetic Day 2026

First introduced during K2's global Kinetic Conference in Barcelona in 2022, Kinetic Day has become a defining moment in our calendar. Created as part of our Kinetic strategy, it celebrates the people and culture that bring our global business together.

Every June, colleagues across K2 step away from their day-to-day roles to connect with one another, support their local communities, and create shared experiences that strengthen collaboration, reinforce our values, and leave a lasting impact both inside and outside the workplace.

This year's event marked the final Kinetic Day of our five-year programme, providing an opportunity to reflect on how far we've come as a global business and the culture we've built together along the way.

While every office celebrated in its own way, one theme united them all: the power of people.

Community in action along the seine

Our Paris team began the day with a community clean-up along the banks of the River Seine, collecting more than five bags of litter before enjoying a boat cruise and lunch together.

The day perfectly reflected K2's belief that making a positive impact starts within the communities where we live and work.

UAE

Learning through innovation

In Dubai, colleagues visited UNS Vertical Farms to explore how sustainable hydroponic farming is helping shape the future of food production in the UAE.

The experience highlighted how innovation and sustainability can work hand in hand, before the team continued discussions over lunch at a locally sourced restaurant.

Australia

Friendly competition builds stronger teams

Sometimes the best conversations happen away from the office.

Our Australian team enjoyed an afternoon of mini golf, darts and plenty of laughter at Holey Moley, demonstrating that building stronger teams can be as simple as spending quality time together.

Brazil

Connection across generations

One of the most moving Kinetic Day celebrations took place in Brazil, where the team spent time with residents at Casa Ondina Lobo, a long-term residential care home.

Alongside donating more than 30 gifts, colleagues shared games, conversation and companionship with residents.

Several team members reflected on the experience afterwards.

Singapore

Creating Something Together

The Singapore office transformed creativity into collaboration by producing a large, shared mural, with every colleague contributing to the finished artwork.

The event also welcomed team members from Shanghai, Australia and the UK, making it a truly regional celebration. Their participation added to the sense of connection across APAC and beyond, making the event even more meaningful.

With music, food and plenty of laughter, the event captured exactly what Kinetic Day is all about.

United Kingdom

Celebrating together while giving back

Our UK colleagues enjoyed one of the biggest Kinetic Day celebrations yet, combining quizzes, crazy golf, darts and shuffleboard with an incredibly successful charity silent auction.

Thanks to generous donations from colleagues and partners, the auction raised more than £6,000 for the K2 Foundation, creating an impact that extends well beyond the day itself.

The event received overwhelmingly positive feedback, with many colleagues describing it as "the best Kinetic Day yet." ‍

Sweden

Time together, outside the office

In Malmö, the team prepared lunch together before boarding a canal boat to enjoy the city from a different perspective.

The afternoon continued with games in the park, creating plenty of opportunities to reconnect outside the workplace.

Simple moments shared together often create the strongest connections.

United States

Giving back across communities

Across the United States, teams focused on supporting the communities around them, giving back to their communities while strengthening connections with one another through meaningful acts of service

In Houston, colleagues assembled intervention bags filled with essential items for survivors of human trafficking through Elijah Rising.  The team also extended their support to the elderly by creating thoughtful cards and assembling care packages containing everyday essentials, offering both practical assistance and personal encouragement to those in need.

Remote employees also supported causes close to home through volunteering at animal shelters, neighbourhood clean-ups and organisations tackling poverty.

Although separated by geography, everyone shared the same purpose: making a positive difference.

Bucharest

Connection, collaboration, and shared experiences

The Bucharest team demonstrated collaboration in action during a series of escape room challenges after sharing lunch together in the office.

Working against the clock, the team successfully escaped from seven of the eight rooms, showcasing communication, trust and teamwork throughout the day.

South Africa

Environmental action, community support, and connection

Our South Africa team dedicated the day to both environmental action and community care.

After volunteering in a local beach clean-up, colleagues donated beautifully hand-knitted beanies and winter socks to a local night shelter, helping people through the colder months.

The day ended with games and refreshments back at the office.  the event reflected the values at the heart of the team, bringing people together through shared purpose, compassion, and collaboration. It served as a reminder of the positive impact that can be made when individuals unite to support both their community and one another.
