K2 Group strengthens commitment to excellence with successful ISO audit results

K2 Group has successfully completed a significant programme of ISO audits, achieving outstanding results across four internationally recognised standards.

Last month, K2 successfully passed its recertification audits for ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management), with zero non-conformances and a recommendation for full recertification. Last week, the business successfully completed its ISO 27001:2022 surveillance audit, again achieving zero non-conformances and demonstrating the ongoing strength of its Information Security Management System (ISMS).‍

Together, these results reflect K2's continued commitment to quality, information security, environmental responsibility, occupational health and safety, and operational excellence across the business.

Independent validation of our standards

ISO certifications provide independent assurance that organisations have effective management systems, governance frameworks and processes in place to support continual improvement and manage risk effectively.

Across the audit programme, external auditors undertook detailed reviews of K2's policies, procedures, operational controls and supporting evidence. The audits examined a broad range of activities, including customer service and quality management, environmental initiatives, occupational health and safety, information security controls, third-party risk management, due diligence processes, software development practices and asset management.

The auditors assessed not only whether documented policies existed, but how those policies and controls are embedded into day-to-day operations throughout the organisation.

A culture that extends beyond compliance

One of the strongest themes to emerge from the audits was the culture experienced by the auditors during their time with K2.

Auditors commented positively on the knowledge, professionalism and engagement demonstrated by employees across the business. Feedback highlighted strong levels of client focus, confidence in operational processes, accessible record keeping and a clear understanding of management systems across multiple functions.

The environmental management audit generated particularly encouraging feedback. Auditors observed that the awareness and education developed through K2's environmental programme was influencing behaviours beyond the workplace, with employees applying sustainability principles in their personal lives as well as in their professional roles.

This reflects K2's belief that effective management systems should drive meaningful behavioural change rather than simply satisfy compliance requirements.

Information Security remains a strategic priority

The successful completion of the ISO 27001:2022 surveillance audit further reinforces K2's commitment to protecting the sensitive information entrusted to us by clients, relocating employees and those employees’ families.

As a global provider of relocation, immigration and mobility services, information security is fundamental to the way K2 operates. The audit included a detailed review of information security governance, IT processes, third-party risk management, partner onboarding, development practices and the operation of security controls across the business.

Following three days of extensive review, the auditor identified no non-conformances. This outcome demonstrates not only the effectiveness of K2's Information Security Management System, but also the maturity of the controls and governance processes that underpin it.

Commitment to continuous improvement

While achieving zero non-conformances across all audits is an excellent result, the value of these standards extends beyond certification itself.

At K2, ISO standards are used as tools for continuous improvement, helping to strengthen processes, challenge existing ways of working and identify opportunities to enhance service quality, environmental performance, employee wellbeing and information security.

The successful audit outcomes provide independent validation of the systems and culture that support K2's operations worldwide, and reinforce the trust placed in the business by clients, partners and employees.

Looking ahead

As K2 continues to grow internationally, maintaining robust management systems remains a key strategic priority. These latest audit results demonstrate the organisation's ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality services while protecting information, supporting employee wellbeing and operating responsibly.

The achievements across ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 27001:2022 reflect the dedication of teams throughout the organisation, as well as the collective effort required to maintain the high standards expected by clients and stakeholders around the world.
