K2 Earns a Place on the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women List

This Great Place To Work® list recognises companies in the UK that maintain a reasonable balance of women and men across the organisation; remove barriers to women’s career advancement; and create workplaces in which all employees, regardless of gender, can flourish.

To compile the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women List, Great Place To Work® analysed the anonymous responses of women to their workplace survey, focussing on their daily experiences of innovation, the company’s values, and the effectiveness of their leaders. They then benchmarked each company’s employee value proposition against the culture that its employees actually experience on a daily basis. The companies that achieved the highest scores secured a place on the list.

At the time of survey, 67% of all K2 employees were female, 52% of all managerial positions were held by women, and 60% of all promotions within the last 12 months were earned by women.

Our DE&I policy guarantees equal access to opportunities and resources for women, and gender differentiation plays no part when it comes to employee remuneration. The result is a rich and inclusive culture which supports the women at K2 to do so much more than simply fulfil the requirements of their role; it supports them to break down barriers and empower others, becoming powerful role models for those both within and beyond the business.
