2025: K2’s Year in Milestones

As we prepare to bid adieu to 2025, we’d like to share and reflect on the milestones which have shaped our business this year…

As we prepare to say goodbye to 2025, it is the perfect moment to reflect on the milestones that have shaped our business over the past year. From exceptional client feedback and new initiatives to meaningful social impact, 2025 has been a year defined by progress, innovation and purpose.

1. A culture recognised globally

We have been globally recertified as a Great Place To Work®. Our survey results reveal a robust culture characterised by teamwork, innovation, and a commitment to going above and beyond to achieve results. Our people are highly engaged, empowered, and invested in the company’s social responsibility initiatives. They are also united by the belief that delivering an exceptional customer experience is fundamental to our business model and the continual evolution of our processes.

2. Sustainability and responsible growth

We published our third annual Sustainability Report.

As a company operating within an industry with a significant environmental footprint, K2 recognises the need for impact driven action and innovative sustainable solutions. From reducing the carbon footprint of international relocations to supporting charitable initiatives in the regions where we operate, the 2024 report highlights how K2 is integrating sustainability into every aspect of our business operations.

These efforts ensure that our clients can continue to grow and support their globally mobile workforce, assisted by service partners who prioritise responsible and ethical business practices.

3. Expanding our global presence

We opened a new office in Shanghai, China.

K2 Shanghai is K2’s third office in APAC, opened to further strengthen our ability to support clients and their assignees in the region.

4. Strengthening our service offering

2025 saw several important developments across our services, designed to simplify complexity and support clients navigating international mobility.

K2 X Border

We transformed our immigration service into K2 X Border.

Driven by increasing client demand for immigration support, this transformation enables K2 X Border to flourish as a stand alone service while remaining a key element of K2 Corporate Mobility’s relocation management offering.

K2 X Border removes friction, complexity and uncertainty from cross border moves. Available to both businesses and private individuals, the team manages every aspect of the immigration process, pairing global reach with local insight to ensure a smooth and timely transition for every customer.

K2 Indx

We also transformed our Advisory service into K2 Indx.

K2 Indx combines our global mobility advisory and assignment management capabilities into a more precise and structured offering. The new brand reflects how we already work by simplifying complexity, interpreting data, shaping strategy and delivering guidance that supports confident and informed mobility decisions.

5. Connecting the global mobility community

Throughout 2025 we continued to bring people together, share knowledge and create meaningful conversations across the mobility industry.

Personally Speaking podcast

We recorded six new episodes of our original podcast, Personally Speaking.

“Because it’s personal” is more than a strapline for K2. It is an ethos embedded into the company’s culture and one on which our global success is built. Hosted by Global Marketing Director James Marshall, the podcast introduces the people behind our personal approach and offers a glimpse into the culture that makes K2 a Great Place To Work®.

Global events and industry conversations

We organised and hosted more than 20 events across EMEA, APAC and the Americas.

Throughout the year we brought our global community together through roundtables, leadership mornings, webinars and social events designed to share practical insights, spark ideas and strengthen relationships.

Highlights included the 10th anniversary of the Midlands Global Mobility Forum in Birmingham, which underlined the forum’s role as a trusted space for guidance and peer exchange. In Sydney, a Leaders’ Lunch explored the balance between AI enabled efficiency and the importance of human connection. Meanwhile the K2 Spring Social in London provided a relaxed setting for colleagues, clients and partners to connect and celebrate progress.
