We are delighted to announce that both K2 South Africa and K2 Dubai have successfully passed their recertification audits for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
ISO standards are internationally recognised guidelines that ensure quality, safety and efficiency across various industries and sectors. ISO has published over 25,000 standards covering a wide range of topics, including Quality Management (ISO 9001) and Environmental Management (ISO 14001).
ISO 9001 in more detail
ISO 9001 is an internationally recognised standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS) that helps organisations ensure their products and services meet customer and regulatory requirements. This standard emphasises taking a process-oriented approach to improve operational efficiency.

ISO 14001 is an internationally recognised standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS) that provides a framework for organisations to manage their environmental responsibility effectively. It is designed to help organisations improve their environmental performance through more efficient use of resources and reduction of waste
The audit process
To successfully pass an ISO audit, auditees must demonstrate that their systems, processes, and policies meet the required criteria for a specific standard. During the audits, auditors will not only undertake in-depth reviews of documentation, but also conduct a series of interviews with team members to ensure that employees at all levels of the organisation understand the principles of the standard, and their role in maintaining it.
