Environmental commitments

Sustainability in global mobility involves measurable action beyond policy. K2 emphasizes waste reduction, emissions lowering, and sustainable practices in all managed moves. Through practical initiatives and industry collaboration, we strive to create a lasting positive impact for clients, partners, and the world.

Cutting plastic use in global mobility

Plastics are a major environmental challenge, so reducing their use is a priority throughout our operations and supply chain. In 2022, global usage exceeded 4,000 kg. By 2023, our reduction efforts cut this by nearly 50%, demonstrating what's possible with focus and commitment.

Our efforts go beyond our own offices. We collaborate with accredited partners to reduce plastics in packaging and shipments, so sustainable practices benefit clients, assignees, and the environment. By tracking progress and sharing results, we hold ourselves accountable while encouraging others in the industry to take action.

Taking collective action for a more sustainable mobility delivery

Progress on the environment is only possible when the industry works together. We engage our global partner network to reduce plastic use in shipments, improve recycling standards, and embed sustainable practices into every relocation.

This collective approach ensures consistent standards and visible progress across the supply chain. Sustainability becomes more than a principle; it is an action-driven part of our service, delivered through a network committed to both business success and environmental responsibility.

Sustainable mobility for the future

Caring for the environment today safeguards mobility tomorrow. Sustainability is now an expectation for organizations seeking to attract and support future generations of global talent.

By embedding responsible practices in mobility programs, organizations can reduce environmental impact while continuing to support people moving across borders, creating solutions that are effective, responsible, and future-focused.
