K2 host autumn MGMF in collaboration with EY

The first half of the morning was rounded off by K2’s Executive Business Director, Richard Rutledge, who provided an update on the K2 Foundation and the most recent fundraising activity, that saw three K2 team members Ride Across Britain, completing 980 miles over 9 days.

After a short break, experts from across EY’s People Advisory Services and Employment Law teams delivered three sessions titled Autumn Budget Revelations & Non-Dom, The Future of Pay Transparency in Mobility, and Navigating Short Term Assignments.

The event closed with an inspirational presentation from Matt Hampson Foundation beneficiary, Henry Dunn, who explained how he has reframed his outlook on adversity following a life changing injury and spoke about the importance of resilience. Additionally, Henry also gave an account of his accelerated journey to competing at this year’s CrossFit Adaptive Games in Texas.

Reflecting on the morning’s events, Talent Team Associate Director and Global Mobility Assignment Services Lead (EW & UKI) for EY, Karen Byrne, who hosted the Autumn forum, says:

The bi-annual Midlands Global Mobility Forums, which were originally set up almost a decade ago, are designed to offer a relaxed setting for GM professionals in the region to come together and engage in lively discussions on industry-relevant topics.
